This Week on TTL - April 22nd 2024

Monday April 22nd, 2024

Eric took the weekend off from the vlog, and went camping at the base of Steens Mountain Saturday+Sunday with Chris Corbin.

"When we were in Ventura and my creative energy was off the charts, I told myself I'd get out of our hometown as often as I could from now on to keep that good energy flowing. Experiencing new things is one of the ultimate hacks to achieving flow state. I think it had so much to do with my training going so well the last couple of months and I'm on a mission to hang onto it."

Stay tuned for a short episode from the trip sometime this week!

This week on the pod, we discuss

🏁Racing with age groupers vs racing with just professionals

🥾Different levels of technicality in trail running

🛠️Dis-assembling bikes for travel and protecting the carbon

☺️Using CBD in training

👕How to get a TTL jersey on Zwift

🥵How hot is too hot for an aero helmet?

🤙 Eric's favorite surf movies

🏊 Spatial awareness when swimming in a crowded lane (plus how you can practicing drafting in the pool!)

It was a big race weekend for our Development Squad!

A few of our development athletes raced this weekend and threw down some epic performances!

Zack raced Ironman Valencia 70.3 and finished 1st place in his age group

John competed in the Elite Men's category at the World Triathlon Cup in Wollongong and finished in 13th

Matheus competed with CU Boulder at Collegiate Nationals in Mission Viejo, CA

They absolutely crushed it and we are proud to support them in their journey of becoming professional triathletes! Keep up with their training/racing on instagram:
